Over the past few years, I’ve worked on a range of websites across e‑commerce, hospitality and more, with a strong focus on making things simple and effective for both the business owner and their customers.
This has included refreshing outdated sites, building online stores, and untangling the “tech headache” behind email setups, integrations and basic automations so that everything works smoothly in the background.
A big part of this has also been applying principles from a year of study with the Interaction Design Foundation, especially Gestalt psychology in web design, to create layouts that feel intuitive and guide users naturally through each page.
My portfolio spans an online surf and wetsuit store in South Africa, Wetsuit Warehouse, where the focus has been on improving product organisation, user experience and promotions to support sales growth while prioritizing a solid SEO strategy . In hospitality, I’ve supported both local and international clients, from South African farm and lodge and stays like Netherwood Farm, to African and overseas experiences such as Jumbo Junction and Gourmet Sailing Charter company, Pyratz based in the Caribbean, helping present their locations and offerings in a way that feels immersive and contributes to a memorable and seamless User Experience; growing (netherwood's) web presence with a solid SEO strategy. I’ve also worked on beauty and wellness e‑commerce brands like Inthusiasm, as well as collaborating with boutique agencies such as Lady Like Media, giving me experience working within existing brand frameworks while still bringing in conversion-focused structure and design thinking
